Long time Twain Harte resident of 54 years, Richard James (Jake) Jacobsen passed away September 16th, 2022. Jake was born in Oakland, CA to Victor and Irene Jacobsen. His career included the USAF and Law enforcement. He retired as Under Sheriff of Mono County after serving as Under Sheriff of Tuolumne County. Preceding him in death was first wife Marci, their three sons, his brother and many other deceased relatives. He survived by his wife Sharon, three stepchildren and eight grandchildren. He was a treasure to us all. He was a highly skilled gun shootist and gun maker. He was kind, funny, thoughtful, loving and will be sorely missed. May God bless you with a pain free and very happy life in heaven.
