Lifelong Sonora resident Patricia “Patty” Ruth White passed away on Aug 28, 2022, at Meadowview Manor in Sonora. She was 93.
Patty was queen of the Mother Lode Paradein 1947 and then the grand marshal in 1988. She worked for the Tuolumne County Superior Court for 25-plus years under several judges, Meuli, Quinn and Boyack to name a few. She was very social and loved to go to Serventes at 5 p.m. to have a beer with her friends. She also loved animals, especially cats, dogs and horses.
Patty is survived by her son, Rudy White, and his wife, Debi; granddaughter, Brittany Bacon; great-grandchildren Reece Bacon and Liam Bacon, all of Sonora. She was preceded in death by her son, Ronnie White (2006); ex-husband Alfred “Tommy” White (1982); her father, Edward Emerald, and her mother, Rosa (Ruth) Shea.
A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 25, at the Sonora Elks Lodge.
