Lucian Doman “Dan” LeMay was a bold, energetic man of many talents who lived his life with passion and resilience. He was born on 29 August 1949 and never stopped building… and loving his family until his passing on 24 July 2022.
Dan served for two years as a Soldier in the Army, worked for the illustrious company Redken, and moved on to a long and prosperous career at Hetch Hetchy Water and Power where he retired. He is survived by his wife and soulmate, Rosemary LeMay, who stood with him in marriage for over thirty years. He leaves behind five daughters, Melissa LeMay (Robbie LeMay son-in-law), Kristina Lauria, Michelle Torgersen, Bre McGeachy (James McGeachy son-in-law), and Juliet LeMay, who all cherished him; and six grandchildren, Danielle Saffen, Joshua Saffen, Evan McGeachy, Nicole Miller, BreAnna Torgersen, and Easton Torgersen, who always laughed at his jokes.
Dan was a man of many accomplishments. He was a mechanic, an expert Prospector, and a highly skilled woodworker who enjoyed working hard and helping others. He will be missed greatly by family and friends however they are comforted knowing he is with our Lord and savior. His funeral will be a private affair held in Sonora, California.
