Leopoldo “Leo” Cortes passed away on Saturday, November 12 , 2022. He was 12 days shy of his 100th birthday. He passed away peacefully at his home in Sonora, California in the presence of family and friends.
Leo was a lively, friendly man who loved dancing, playing the guitar and the drums, going to church, and visiting with family and friends. He lived in Sonora for over 40 years and was a well-known member of the community. He will be remembered and missed by many.
A mass and funeral for Leo Cortes will be held on Friday, November 18, 2022. All friends and family who knew Leo are welcome to attend.
The schedule for funeral services on Friday, November 18, will be as follows
9 a.m.-12 p.m. viewing at Terzich and Wilson funeral home, 1 p.m.-2 p.m. mass at St. Patrick’s catholic church, after 2 p.m., the burial at St. Patrick’s Catholic Mountain View cemetery.
