Twain Harte resident Jose “Joe” de Jesus Gallo passed away on Friday, Dec. 2, 2022, at age 61.
Joe was born in Jalostotitlan, Jalisco, on March 19, 1961, to Francisco Javier and Maria T. Gallo. Joe loved life! He loved to laugh and make everyone else laugh. He loved being out in the water with a fishing pole in one hand and a beer in the other. He adored his daughters and grandchildren; spending time with them kept him young. He was blessed to be loved unconditionally by his wife. Joe loved to fix things and break some along the way. He was a fighter, a survivor, a man who impacted so many lives and was loved by so many. His smile and his love will never be forgotten.
Joe is survived by his wife, Margarita, and four children, Blanca E. Lopez, Leticia Howey, Yesenia Gallo and Claudia Gallo; seven grandchildren, Isadora, Natalia and AJ Lopez, Julian Ballesteros, Jason Howey Jr., and Noah and Aiden Killingbeck; siblings Maria Covarrubias, Martha Perez, Teresa Sanchez, Martin Gallo, Margarita Trujillo, Veronica Gallo and Saul Gallo; and his father, Francisco Javier Gallo.
Joe was preceded in death by mother, Maria, in 2014.
A service will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, at Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home, 225 E. Rose Ave., Sonora.
