Jamestown resident Jesse Luis Gonzalez, 35, died Friday, Aug. 5, in Jamestown.
Jesse leaves behind his wife, Kristen, and his four children – Jase, 6, Makenzie, 5, Conrad, 3, and Liam, 18 months. He was deeply involved with his young, growing family. He was an exceptional husband, father, and overall giving person – the ultimate family man and would do anything for them. He enjoyed family outings and spending time outdoors.
A hard-working man, Jesse began working at Van’s Cabinet Shop in East Sonora when he was 15 before moving on to operate heavy equipment. He worked as a heavy equipment operator with the Operating Engineers Local Union No. 3.
He will be greatly missed by all of his family, friends, and those whose lives he touched.
In addition to his wife and children, Jesse is survived by his parents, Sergio and Kathy Gonzalez, of Sacramento; his sister, Kristina L. Chavez, of Lincoln; his brother, James A. Gonzalez, of Sacramento; his grandmother, Linda L. Carter, of Sonora; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Luis Gonzalez, Elvira Guatemala and Larry Carter.
A private celebration of Jesse’s life will be held at a later date. Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home handled
