Graveside Service

Longtime Twain Harte resident, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Ilah Mae (Powell) Lima passed away on July 20, 2022, at South Sacramento Kaiser. She was 87.
Born in Oakland, Ilah lived the past 32 years in Twain Harte. She was a faith-filled parishioner of St. Leonard’s and Santa Paula Churches in Fremont and of All Saints in Twain Harte. She led and participated in fundraisers at her children’s schools, as well as scorekeeping youth baseball. She enjoyed painting and traveling (visited all 50 states), and loved time with family and friends. She will be greatly missed.
Ilah is survived by her husband of 64.5 years, August “Gus” Lima; children James (Michiele Iorii) Lima, of Palm Desert, Tedd (Katie) Lima, of Cheshire, Connecticut, Mark (Geraldine) Lima, of Fremont, and Glenn (Lisa) Lima, of Eagle, Idaho; grandchildren Valerie (Jesse Navas), Daniel, and Janeen (Mark’s Kids), Maggie (Jim’s kid), Meghan (Andrew Bona), Erin (Robert Palko), Tyler and Kathleen (Ted’s kids), Miranda, Brianna and Trent (Glenn’s kids); great-grandchildren Henry and Arthur Bona; her brother, James Powell, of Anacortes, Washington; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Mary Powell; and sister and brother-in-law, Marilyn and Howard Zimmerman.
Services were held in July.
